Show me how

The part nobody says out loud

If any of this sounds like you...

1You open Skool and the member number is the same as yesterday. Again.
2You've posted the link in your bio, on your stories, in your emails. Everyone who was going to join already did.
3You turned Growth Boost all the way up and it brought in a trickle. Or nothing.
4You post inside your own group and it feels like talking to an empty room.
5You've thought about ads but you're scared you'll spend money and get nothing back.
6You watch other Skool owners hit 100, 200, 500 members and you can't figure out what they know that you don't.
7And underneath all of it there's this quiet worry that maybe your group just isn't good enough.

Your group isn't the problem.

You ran out of people who already know you. Your list, your followers, your friends. Everyone who was going to join from that pool already did.

The group didn't stop working. It just never had a way to reach anyone new.

So here's what happens when it does.

Thirty days from now

The member count moves again.

Strangers who have never heard of you are finding your About page every day.
Your list and your followers stop being your only source of members. They were always going to run out. Now they're just the warm-up.
Growth Boost becomes a bonus instead of the plan.
Your group gets louder on its own, because new people show up with new questions.
You run your first ad with someone looking over your shoulder, so you're not guessing and you're not gambling.
You find out what the 500-member people actually do. It's ads. It's a simpler setup than you think.
And you stop wondering if the group is good enough, because you finally have proof from people who don't know you.

None of that takes a new group, a new product, or a bigger audience.

It takes one job a day for 30 days, with someone checking your work. That's what I built.

Abbey, smiling, in her home office

How I figured this out

Hi, I'm Abbey.

Full-time teacher. Mom of twin toddlers. Owner of the Lab.

I posted. Then I posted more.

For years I did what everyone says to do. Commented, went live, the whole thing.

Then I'd check my Stripe app at the end of the day. Nothing.

People posting way less than me were making sales.

Then I flushed $100 a day down the toilet.

The first ads course I bought said spend $100 a day. So I did. I had no idea what I was doing and the money was just gone.

Every course after that felt like it was written for agencies with big budgets. Not for a beginner with a product and real limits.

So I put it off. For a long time.

Then I got tired of waiting and figured it out on my own. Lots of expensive mistakes. And here's what I found: most of what those courses teach is way more complicated than it needs to be.

The setup that actually works is small and boring. One campaign. One ad set. A couple of ads. Leave it alone for 3 days. Read the numbers. Fix the one thing that's broken.

Then I filled my own Skool with it.

When I opened my group, I used that exact setup. Ads did the work, on days I didn't even pick up my phone.

250+members in 60 days
7social posts since March
$100/daywhat the first course told me to spend. Nope.

Then Skool owners kept asking me the same question.

"I built it. Why is nobody new joining?"

They had the group. They had the About page. They had no way to reach anyone who didn't already know them.

That's why the Lab exists. The plain-language version of this I wish someone had handed me before I spent that first $100 a day. Built for people whose group is already open and just needs people in it.

Before you join

Questions people ask

I've never run an ad. Is this going to be over my head?

Most people in the Lab had never run one either.
The playbooks go screen by screen. The Challenge gives you one job a day.
And you can drop your work in the feed before you publish anything.

How much do I need to spend on ads?

Less than you think. The setup is built for small daily budgets.
You'll set it on day one of the ads section and I'll tell you if it's wrong for your price.

My group is free. Does this still work?

Yes, but read this first.
Ads to a free group cost money and bring in members who pay nothing.
The Roadmap walks you through adding a paid tier. Do that before you turn ads on.

I already tried Growth Boost. It didn't do much.

That's normal.
Discovery shows your group to people already on Skool.
Ads show it to people who've never been on Skool and are looking for exactly what you do. Much bigger room.

What if I try it and it doesn't work?

Stay the 30 days, do every job in the Challenge, and post your proof every day.
Still no paying member? I refund your first month.
You keep everything you built.

How much of your time do I actually get?

I'm in the feed every day, from day one of your trial.
Submit your About page for the Wednesday Hotline and I review it on the call.
What you don't get is me running your ads for you. Nobody in the Lab does that.

Do I have to post on social media to make this work?

No. That's the whole reason I built it this way.
I've posted 7 times since March.

Is $47 a month worth it if my group only makes $200 a month right now?

Two new members a month at your price covers it.
After that, every member the ads bring in is yours to keep, month after month.
What does the group look like in six months if you keep waiting on Discovery?

Your group is open.

Now put people in it.
